Beachdown!

Coloured-In collective are featuring at this years Beachdown Festival which takes place between 28-31 August, Devil’s Dyke, Brighton. I won't be able to make it down this time (boo!), but my fellow coloured-in mates Matt Buchanan, Chris Ede and Will Scobie will be getting their hands dirty creating 2 giant Beachdown banners on show at the festival. There will also be a live battle between us and some very special guests and tree stump painting. Preparations are taking place this week in Matt’s Brighton studio creating the final designs and free give aways. If you are at the festival please drop by and say hi.

Illusive 3

Gestalten asked me to contribute to the 3rd book in the Illusive series - and I was very happy to get involved! They've just announced release dates, so if you're here in the UK you can get your hands on a copy mid-September, USA: end of September and the rest of Europe: end of August. Fab. More info here.
They say: "This definitive reference and veritable guide to the best in illustration today, presents and unparalleled collection of work showcasing nearly 200 world-class illustrators and new emerging talents scouted from around the globe. The book addresses the inexhaustible possibilities of styles and techniques that are practiced today through the broad range of examples featured that span from fashion illustration to the current flirtation with figurative painting, material application as well as deconstruction and collage."
